The City of Sydney is reviewing the rules that control trading hours and areas for businesses opening at night in Sydney. To assist with this review, Council commissioned JOC Consulting, Cred and Micromex to deliver an Engagement Strategy across the LGA. Services have included the recruitment and completion of random sample interviews, management and analysis of the online survey and consultation pop-ups across 10 locations (led by JOC Consulting).
We have built on our previous experience delivering engagement ‘after dark’ to ensure high quality outcomes for the client and on our expertise as urban planners to translate the complex controls associated with late-night trading with the community.
In collaboration with our partners and following the completion of engagement tasks, JOC Consulting will deliver an engagement report on our findings from the pop-ups to help inform the review of trading hours and areas.
