On 22 November 2013 I was invited as Jury member for the 2013 DARCH Horse Awards.
These awards, recognising outstanding contributions by non-architects in the pursuit of a high quality built environment, are only in their second year and are already making waves in the industry. The winning projects are great examples of what the Awards embody – focusing on cross disciplinary collaboration and high quality partnership.
A full list of award winners can be found here and photos from the evening here. Congratulations to all the nominees and category winners.
Thanks to DARCH for inviting me as part of the jury and for creating an important and inspiring award. Thanks also to fellow Jury members, Jim Koopman of Allen Jack + Cottier and Penny Collins of Collins and Turner Architects, for interesting discussion and debate.
